■ Project Coordination External :
- Coordinating all project-relevant matters (performance of all related departments,
scheduling, cost) with client, cooperation partners and suppliers
- Continuous information on the project progress incl. presentation, crisis management,
corrective action plan management
■ Project Coordination Internal :
- Preparing and implementing a development process plan aiming at the timely and cost-effective achievement of the client's requirements.
- Managing a project: definition or performance specifications, concept studies and complete layouts; representing the corporation internally and externally
- Independent decision/coordination of improvement measures (design ,development and
production process as well as supply chain management)
- New and/or improved solutions; coordination of project-relevant tasks
■ Organization & Project Handling :
- Definition of the development process in consideration of OOO's customer processes,
standards, and specifications
- Coordination of setup and use of technical test/inspection equipment (design verification)
- Active involvement with staff responsible for product & manufacturing engineering
- Understand & determine the interfaces between client/cooperation partner and cooperation
partner/suppliers (TIER1, TIER 2 responsibilities)
- Conduct regular meetings with team members (simultaneous engineering team) in order to monitor program progress and if necessary to implement improvement measures
- Program documentation to ensure & prove the success/progress of the project
■ Project Controlling :
- Continuous monitoring of progress, timing & cost
- Definition of remedial measures in case of deviations from specified targets
(=crisis management)
- Periodical reports to customer, cooperation partner and OOO managements
